Taking into account the time the image was made I think there is a great range of tones and despite other comments I can see detail in the shadow areas to the left.(a properly calibrated monitor helps ) there is also great detail in the highlights on the water. The converging verticals do not unduly bother me. The placement of the rowing boat on the left bottom third adds a nice human element to the scene although I would prefer to see the complete boat as I feel it is too slightly cropped. Overall this is a nice peaceful scene in what is probably an extremley busy city.
