Its a great pose if the bride is the right shape and it shows off the veil beautifully. I live in Tipperary approx 1.5 hours from Dublin. Where in Dublin are you shooting the wedding
We are meeting this weekend to discuss the details and come up with a price so there is still a good chance that this could fall through when the client realizes this is going to cost him 2500 $. I can't seem to find prices online for Irish photogs do you know how much it would cost to hire one of comparable talent?
My prices start ar 2,000 euro and can go as high as 4,500-5,000 depending on what album the couple pick. I do not include a high res disc with this I charge an extra 500 euro for this. There are a lot of photographers who will do it cheaper but thats their problem. A client interested in quality will pay the required price to get that quality
impressive. This is something I have been wondering about, what do you show clients in your interviews? In the weddings I have booked I have been showing full weddings on my laptop and explaining my style as I go. Also did you slowly work up to your current prices so as not to alienate possible referrals from previous clients?
I usually show them a complete edited wedding shoot and then if I have a collection of images from their reception venue I would show them these as well. Most weddings I shoot are as a result of referals so I dont advertise that much. Also When the wedding is edited I give the couple a DVD slideshow ( prowshow Gold ) set to music of all the edited images. This also acts as an effective advertising tool. I usually keep my prices at a certain level for approx two years and raise them if albums, processing etc become more expensive. Also I have won a lot of National and International Wedding awards so I can charge a little bit more than some although I would by no means be considered very expensive.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
